Create Your Own: Mango Jam


An easy mango jam recipe to delight your taste buds!



Ingredients:

  • 1kg Mango Pulp (we used Banganapalli mangoes)

  • 800g Granulated White Sugar

  • Juice of 4 Limes

  • Cinnamon Powder - 2 teaspoons


Instructions: Mix all the ingredients in a bowl, and boil on the stove top for 45 to 60 minutes at a low or medium flame.


Note that duration for the jam to form will vary slightly depending on the strength of your burner, and the material of your utensil.


Once water has evaporated and you see that large bubbles start to form as the liquid thickens, take your bowl off the flame and let it cool for a while before filling up your clean jars to store your freshly made mango jam! This jam can stay good in your fridge for upto 1 year, when stored in a clean airtight jar.
